聚集众人，顺天应命
The Judgment
Gathering Together: success. The king approaches his temple. It furthers one to see the great man. This brings success. Perseverance furthers. To bring great offerings brings good fortune. It furthers one to undertake something.
The hexagram of Gathering Together shows the waters of the lake collecting upon the earth, all things drawing together. There is success. The king comes to his ancestral temple to gather the hearts of the people; it is well to see the great man; there is success, and steadfastness furthers. To offer great sacrifices brings good fortune, and it is well to have somewhere to go.
泽上于地，萃。君子以除戎器，戒不虞。
萃，聚也。顺以说，刚中而应，故聚也。王假有庙，致孝享也。利见大人亨，聚以正也。用大牲吉，利有攸往，顺天命也。观其所聚，而天地万物之情可见矣。
Interpretation(original text)
萃，聚也。万物聚集、人心汇聚之象。泽水汇于地上，众流归聚，百姓聚于王庭。《彖》曰「顺以说，刚中而应，故聚也」，以柔顺悦服之德聚合天下。萃之道在于有所归聚：须有大人主持、须有诚信感召、须有牲牢祭祀之诚敬。
上兑为泽为悦，下坤为地为顺。泽水聚于地面之上，有万流归聚之象。程颐释曰：「泽上于地，水聚于地上，聚之象也。」坤顺在下而悦兑在上，众人以柔顺之心悦服而归聚。然水聚于地，若不加约束则泛滥成灾，故君子观此象当「除戎器，戒不虞」，整治兵器以防不测。
九五居尊位阳刚中正，为聚众之主。九四阳居阴位近五，为辅佐之臣。六二居下卦之中，阴柔中正，与九五正应，为应召归聚之贤。初六居卦底阴柔无力，「有孚不终」则心志不坚。上六居极，萃道将穷而涕洟嗟叹。朱熹曰：「天下之聚，必有所归。」
萃继姤之后。《序卦》曰：「物相遇而后聚，故受之以萃。」相遇之后方能聚合。萃与升互为综卦，萃为聚集、升为上进，聚而后升。先汇聚力量然后推动上升，此事理之必然。朱熹曰：「萃者聚也，升者进也，聚而上进。」萃升一组，聚以蓄力、升以展志。
The Lines
If you are sincere but not to the end, there will be now confusion, now gathering. If you call out, then after one clasp of the hand you can laugh again. Do not grieve. Going forward is without blame.
Sincerity that falters before the end brings first disorder, then reunion; but cry out, and with a single clasp of hands tears turn to laughter. Do not fret, for to go on brings no fault.

初六以阴居阳位不当，处萃之初。「有孚不终，乃乱乃萃」，有诚信但不能坚持到底，于是混乱于聚散之间。「若号一握为笑」，若能呼号求助则一握手间转忧为喜。程颐释曰：「初志在五而阻于四，心不定而惑乱。」此爻须坚定信念，明确归聚之志，不可犹豫不定。
Letting oneself be drawn brings good fortune and is without blame. If one is sincere, then even a small offering is acceptable.
To be drawn onward and join the gathering brings good fortune and no fault; where the heart is sincere, even the plainest spring offering suffices.

六二以阴居阴位，中正得位，与九五正应。「引吉无咎」，被引导则吉而无咎。「孚乃利用禴」，有诚信则薄祭亦可感通。朱熹曰：「柔中正而应五，但当引而从之，不须丰祀，诚信即可。」六二为萃之正道——以中正之德被贤主所召，诚心归聚则自然亨通。
Gathering together amid sighs. Nothing that furthers. To go forward is without blame, though a slight humiliation.
One joins the gathering with sighs of regret, and nothing seems to favor it; yet to go forward brings no fault, only a touch of embarrassment.

六三以阴居阳位不当，处下卦之极。「萃如嗟如」，欲聚而叹息，聚而不得。「无攸利」，无所利益。「往无咎，小吝」，前往虽无大咎却有小憾。王弼注：「处坤之极，上无正应，欲萃而无所从。」六三在聚散之间徘徊不定，虽有归聚之心而缺乏正当途径。此爻须放低姿态、主动求合。
Great good fortune. No blame.
Great good fortune, and no fault. A strong line at the time of gathering finds ample room to act.

九四以阳居阴位不当，然近九五之尊。「大吉无咎」，需大吉方能无咎，说明此位本有咎险。程颐谓：「以阳居阴，不正也。然近五而为聚众之任，功大则可免咎。」九四为辅佐之臣，须忠诚勤勉以大功补不正之失。居近君之位，责任重大，惟大功大德方可无咎。
If in gathering together one holds position, this brings no blame. If there are some not yet sincerely in the work, sublime and enduring perseverance is needed. Then remorse disappears.
To gather others while holding an honored place brings no fault; and where some are not yet won over, great virtue held steadfast for the long term dissolves all regret.

九五以阳居阳位，中正尊贵，为萃卦之主。「萃有位」，以尊位聚合天下。「无咎」者，守正聚众则无咎。「匪孚，元永贞」，若有人不诚信归服，当以大德长久守正感化之。朱熹释曰：「九五刚中当位，为萃之主。」此爻为萃道之典范——居中正之位，以德聚人，不强求而人自归。
Lamenting and sighing, floods of tears. No blame.
Sighing and weeping, moved to the depths, yet there is no fault. Such anxious care is itself the mark of one careful to the very end.

上六以阴居阴位得正，处萃之极。「赍咨涕洟」，叹息流泪。萃道已穷，聚散终有时。程颐释曰：「处萃之终，阴柔在上，无位无应，不得其聚，故嗟叹涕泪。」「无咎」者，能自知其失而悲叹，知错则尚可免咎。萃极而散，此亦天道常理。此爻为聚之终结，当坦然面对离散。

资金汇聚之时宜集中配置核心资产，顺势而为，但须防止聚集过后的溃散风险。
凝聚团队力量共同攻坚，以德服人、以正号令，是成就大事的关键时刻。
感情中聚合团圆之时须珍惜，以诚信维系纽带，不可因安逸而疏于经营。
气血汇聚充盈之时宜积极调养，利用好身体恢复期巩固健康基础。

萃卦象征聚合、汇集。泽水聚于地上，万物汇聚。运势向好，利于团聚、合作和整合资源。但聚合之时也要防范意外。
事业上宜联合众人之力、整合各方资源。团队凝聚力增强，大项目协作推进。但人多了也要防范内部矛盾和混乱。
商业上利于并购整合、资源聚集。市场集中度提高，可借势发展壮大。但要防范竞争对手联合对抗。
学业上适合参加集体学习、学术交流。在群体中互相启发、共同进步。加入学习小组效果显著。
感情上利于聚会邂逅、亲友介绍。人际圈子扩大，有遇到心仪对象的机会。已婚者宜多参加家庭聚会。
做决定时宜集思广益、汇聚众智。但聚合之时要有备无患，制定应急预案，防止意外事件打乱部署。
School Interpretations(original text)
萃者聚也。泽上于地，水土相聚。天下归心，万民咸集。然聚众之时，当修武备、防不虞。
此卦兑泽在上、坤地在下，泽水汇聚于地面，象征万物聚集、人心归附。得此卦者，运势较好，利于团聚合作。凡事人和为贵，集众人之力可成大事。但聚合之时也要保持警惕、未雨绸缪。
运势上升，人缘极佳，利于合作。
资金聚集，投资收益可观。
家人团聚，和睦兴旺。
注意湿气，防脾胃与皮肤之疾。
